Armenia’s martial arts community celebrated a major milestone this month. The Non-Olympic Martial Arts Association has officially launched under the Olympic Committee of Armenia. This new Association brings together 13 national federations, each representing a unique martial art discipline.
Armenian Professional Muaythai Federation Joins as Official Member
The Armenian Professional Muaythai Federation is one of the proud founding members. It now serves as the official representative of Muaythai in Armenia. This move highlights the country’s growing commitment to Muaythai and strengthens its connection with the World Muay Thai Federation (WMF).
Celebrations at Olympic College
To mark this important occasion, the Olympic College in Yerevan hosted a vibrant festival on May 1st. The event brought athletes, officials, and martial arts enthusiasts together for a day filled with exciting demonstrations. Each federation showcased its unique style, giving spectators a clear view of the diversity and cultural richness of non-Olympic martial arts in Armenia.
